Many people are so accustomed to being out of touch with the body that they live entirely in a mental world. The body and mind are interconnected.

To begin our journey of body and mind awareness we introduce awareness of physical sensations. As a beginner physical sensations can seem elusive and be difficult to recognise, that’s why we practice the body scan.

I encourage you to listen to the Body Scan audio for at least 5 days. This will cultivate your mindfulness muscle, particularly if you practice regularly, plus helping you to form a habit.
